Librarian Blogs Galore!

May 3rd, 2006

6 Librarian blogs that have been sent over to me by colleagues or my aggie over the past few weeks:

1) Z666.7.L364 - “musings related to metadata, cataloging, and the “great big” world of librarianship” - From Jennifer Lang

2) The Disorganized Librarian - “A meandering journey into the mind of a somewhat disorganized but totally groovy information professional.” - Elizabeth was at my presentation this morning at the Long Island Library Conference. She’s related to Matthew Lerner, a good friend of mine and a heck of a lawyer.

3) Travels with the State Librarian - “The thoughts and travels of the State Librarian of Kansas” - I don’t know many state librarians that are blogging, but this is awesome!! Way to go Christie Brandau. (Thanks Erica)

4) Ab’s Blog - “links, information, and some analysis about library tech stuff by abigail bordeaux”

5) rambleonsylvie - “Where one library geek blabs about cool stuff she sees and hears, and what she thinks about it.”

6) West Islip Public Library - Another Long Island Library that has a blog. We’re getting there.
