More Library Blog Loveliness

A few “new to me” blogging goodies popped into my aggregator today, and I’m especially excited that two come from my state:

1) The NYIT Library Blog“This blog provides news, updates and items of interest concerning information research, and the New York Institute of Technology Library.”

2) Long Island Library Conference Blog – I chaired this conference a few years back, so this really excites me! I’ll be speaking there next week. I just wish there was more content on this one.

3) Taking a page from the University of Minnesota Library and their UThink project, the North Carolina State University Library has started Wolfblogs“Welcome to WolfBlogs, a blogging service that is available to current students, faculty, and staff at North Carolina State University. WolfBlogs is a service provided by NCSU Libraries to support the personal and curricular activities of the NC State community. All you need to get started is your NC State Unity ID and password.”

It looks like Wolfblogs is just starting out as many of the links lead to “Under Construction” or 404′s, but I’m excited to see how this initiative goes (pst! How about a development blog?)

The have one new blog that started today called The Horseless Library, whch will concentrate “[P]rimarily, but not solely, on all things related to digital libraries, digital librarianship, digital library technologies, etc.”
