The library weblog dedicated to resources for keeping current and professional development

I don’t tag my own blog posts or place them into categories or any other library-type stuff that you might think I’d be into. The reason? Mostly out of laziness. I don’t want to take the time to categorize everything I write. It’s a pain in the neck.

Enter Wanabo. By placing a small piece of code on your blog, this tool allows others to tag your posts for you (actually, it’s so easy to use, I might actually start tagging them as well) So, using the wisdom of crowds for Library Stuff readership, we can create our own classification schema for the entire blog. Slick!

Each page will have its own tags, added by users, and clouds and indexes will be created automagically. Lovely. The Wanabo staff calls this “anonymous in-place tagging.” Lets see how this experiment works. The form is over there on the right. Tag away!
