Watch Out For Digg

November 12th, 2005

Digg is the charmer of the 2.0 resources. I first wrote about it in January, and since then, it’s use has grown and grown…and grown! Funding, a 5 hour shut down because of high volume, and now, a profile in BusinessWeek. Learn what makes people digg Digg. From the last paragraph:

“Digg is all about leveraging collaborative wisdom to make the information on the Internet more convenient. There are a lot of ways you can apply this concept. We’ve been contacted by researchers and scientists about how digg’s model could be applied to things like education, publishing papers, and collaborative science. The peer-review systems that exist in the world today could be easily translated from tens of peers to millions of peers. The world is open. The question is what are we going to choose to do first?”

Keep an eye on Digg, use it, and read their blog for developments.
