The library weblog dedicated to resources for keeping current and professional development

Psst. Steven. Isn’t This Del.icio.us?

November 2nd, 2005

According to Will Richardson, who saw it from Jon Udell, you can send private bookmarks to anyone in del.icio.us. Just tag the query for:username. So, if you want to send something to me, just tag it for:librarystuff. In order to look at the private bookmarks sent to you, go to http://del.icio.us/for/yourusernamehere. Make sure to log-in first or you won’t be able to access the page. Of course, make sure to subscribe to the associated feed.

Heck, “tag something to me” (is that the correct way to say that, lots of new jargon) and send a note along with it. I might get to it quicker than I would if it were sent to my e-mail. :-)
Update: This may need some work because after I sent a private tag to myself, it still showed up on my public page. Maybe I missed something. So, be careful.
