That One Amazing Tech Tool/Resource

How often does a tech tool or resource come out that has such a great influence on your life that you wonder how you previously lived without it? I’m going to say once a year. Here’s a breakdown for the past 5 years of my blogging life, with a bit of explanation on each:

2000 - LISNews - (Still the king of the library blogs)

2001 - Blogger - (New to me in 2001)

2002 - RSS - (New to me in 2002)

2003 - Feedster - (It was the first RSS engine that I ever used - Now, I use PubSub more often [duh!])

2004 - Del.icio.us - (I still find more resources from del.icio.us than any other service)

2005 - Skype - (I Skype all day)
