It’s LIS[fill in the blank].com Week

I don’t know what’s in the water in libraryland, but we’ve seen three LIS{whatever}.com sites launch this week which all deal with blogs and Wikis.

First, LISWiki, then Meredith announced LibSuccess today (Yes, I know it’s an LIB domain, not an LIS domain, but you get the point), another wiki which is, “a one-stop-shop for great ideas for librarians.” Very cool. I also read this evening that Michael Pate has been working on LISPodcasts.com, “a central clearinghouse of everything that is happening in the world of LIS Internet Audio.”

Yowsa!
