Why I’m Joining ALA and PLA

So that I can get into the cool parties at the conference next week…

Actually, I’ve been invited to serve as chair of the PLA Electronic Communications Advisory Committee for 2005-2006 and I’ve accepted. I’ll be attending a few orientation meetings next week and will be ready to go. The appointment begins on July 1st. Wish me luck.
