The library weblog dedicated to resources for keeping current and professional development

Impact

June 19th, 2005

How exciting. Two weeks after my presentation for NPLN, I read this:

“Greetings. I finally joined the blog community, even if it is after the workshop. I am sorry I was unable to attend, but I have heard nothing but positive reviews from people who were there. As a matter of fact, the Luzerne County Library System is investigating setting up a Library Events blog that anyone will be able to access. This is a direct result of last week’s workshop.”

Great news! I also saw this the blog comments:

“Welcome Mary Ann. Yes you did miss a good one. I hope to set up a blog for reference use here at UofS. Take a peek at what Bill Cronauer did for the Albright. Glad to hear that the workshop is having an impact. That is success.”

The second blog was online before my presentation.

On another note, LS will be celebrating its 5 year anniversary this August. I’d like to do something, but I’m not sure what. Any ideas?
