Unofficial Wiki for ALA Annual

Meredith has put together a wiki for ALA Annual. Its content includes not what is happening within the conference itself (although that would be very helpful), but information about visiting Chicago (restaurants, hotels, attractions, etc). This is very cool and will hopefully be added to by many of the conference attendees.

Speaking of ALA Annual, it will be upon us very quickly. If you are a public librarian and would like to blog for PLA, send me and Andrea a note using the PLA blog contact page. Our hope is to get at least 50 public librarians blogging about public library related presentations and events as well as other sights and sounds of the conference (pictures, audio files, etc).

We’ll be sending out more announcements during the next month, but if you want to be a part of the action, get in touch with us as soon as possible.
