A Two Book Limit on Airplanes
April 17th, 2005Ross Mayfield (subscribe to his blog- great stuff) notes that starting April 14th (three days ago) there may be a 2 book limit on flights. He can’t confirm this and I also haven’t seen anything in my aggregator but if this is true, I’d be outraged (and confused). Has anyone seen any truth to this?
Update - Now I can easily back out of my own dumb post by saying that this was a belated April Fools’s joke, but I’ll be honest. I read Ross’s post totally wrong (serves me right for watching Desperate Housewives while blogging - bad idea). Books of matches! Books of matches! Who in their right mind would ban the number of books taken on a plane (Hey, you never know with this administration - funny how I didn’t give it a second thought. Am I so brainwashed by Bush and his crew that I just figured that this “book ban” was a possibility?).
Now it seems that Ross was referring to actual books (tomes), but according to the TSA (PDF), they mean “books of matches.” Is anyone else confused? More importantly, did anyone see Desperate Housewives? (thanks Rochelle for the TSA link)
