The library weblog dedicated to resources for keeping current and professional development

We now have RSS feeds!

March 11th, 2005

I love it when librarians get stoked about providing feeds to their users. Carol Cooke provides links to her two feeds for the Health Science Libraries at the University of Mantitoba. More importantly, she talks about a program called unidigm that she used to create the feeds.

“Yesterday, I discovered that Unidigm has done some wonderful programming and now the RSS feeds are more appropriately branded! I’m giddy with delight! Now I have to figure out a way to promote this on our web site.”

Best way to promote it? An RSS Button, an explanation, and a tutorial. Go for it Carol.
