Oishii!
January 5th, 2005From David Wiley comes oishii!
“One of the main purposes of social bookmarking systems is allowing people to see what other people are bookmarking. I frequently find things that people are linking to very interesting, and thought it would be nice to slap together a system that could tell me, automatically, what lots of other people have just bookmarked. Thus, oishii was born. Oishii is kind of a del.icio.us mini-zeitgeist. oishii! polls the del.icio.us front page every 15 minutes, and returns all sites bookmarked by at least 30 people. In the spirit of facilitating self-organization, oishii is a kind of pheromone trail allowing me and others to find the resources other members of the hive found useful, interesting, humorous, or for some other reason worth visiting again. oishii is also available as RSS“
Suweeeeeeeet! (I haven’t said that in a while). One more step and I’d be in heaven. Create separate pages (or allow the user to do this) for specific tags. I’d love to to see an Oishii for the RSS tags page. I guess Oishii is like Del.icio.us meets Blogdex. I love API. (link via Stephen Downes)
