LISFeeds 2.0

Even though I had nothing to do with it, I figured that I would mention that we (well, Blake) rolled out a new version of LISFeeds this week. Didja notice? There are now 123 library-related feeds included on the page with a bunch of neat little options.

+ New Items - Displays posts that have been added in the past two hours.

+ Today’s Items - Displays posts that have been added today.

+ Random Feed - Displays 10 random feeds that are currently in the LISFeeds database.

+ Search - No boolean in there yet. Search only one word at a time.

Blake has done great work at LISFeeds. He deserves all of the credit for running with the idea of a portal for the library and information science field. He is an excellent librarian, a wonderful colleague, a true friend, and a smart guy. Great work Blake.
