The library weblog dedicated to resources for keeping current and professional development

Collaboration = Trust

October 8th, 2004

Gary, Shirl, and I have been saying to each over via IM and e-mail for the past few months that collaboration works. If you haven’t checked out Resourceshelf lately or our new adventure, Docuticker, you will see that collaboration, indeed, does work. Here’s the key to collaboration, IMO. Find people you trust. Gary has trust that Shirl’s and my contributions to these weblogs are going to reflect both our understanding of credible resources and that we have the time and wherewithal to do the work.

We work so well together that when one of us comments on other weblog posts, we include each others names. Trust. That’s how collaboration works.

Blake found out a long time ago that collaboration works. Librarians: Go forth and collaborate.
