The library weblog dedicated to resources for keeping current and professional development

There Has Been A Jenny Levine Sighting

October 3rd, 2004

Jenny IM’d me tonight. She is having some issues with her blogging software (again), but she did push a few posts to me that I thought I would share. If she can’t get her great stuff out there, then I’ll be happy to do it for her. Here we go.

1) She’s started a Shifted Wiki which rocked my world. In it, she’s keeping an honor roll of shifted libraries and RSS subscription suggestions for librarians. Since this is a wiki, anyone can add their shifted libraries or suggestions for librarian-related RSS Feeds.

2) She also posted about Uthink from the University of Minnesota. Check out the number of weblogs that the library is hosting over there. I know that I said this last week, but I can’t wait to met Shane in Monterey and talk about his successes with UThink.

3) At the Illinois Library Association conference, Jenny had a big day: She received an award and spoke to many vendor reps about RSS and how they can implement it into their software.
