2 RSS Resources
August 17th, 2004These are new to me but seem to have been around for a while. Both are courtesy of del.cio.us:
1) RSS Comics - Get Calvin and Hobbes, Garfield, Dilbert, Frank and Ernest, and/or Peanuts in your aggregator. These feeds are scraped. uComics needs to create their own feeds. Maybe this will be the push they needed (no pun intended).
2) First Say - “First Say is a syndicated content aggregator / portal that uses XML/RSS syndication feeds from Weblogs and mainstream content providers. Designed primarily to make a first page presentation, FIRST SAY shows the most recently updated content from a collection of selected feeds in categories established by users.”
“Divided into twenty categories FIRST SAY can ensure that certain feeds have priority, thereby allowing individuals to bring preferred activities and affiliations to the fore. In addition, FIRST SAY allows the easy management and navigation of multiple collections. For example, it allows users to switch between collections focused on enterprise management to collections focused on hobbies.”
This seems like a “My Yahoo”-type project or something comparable to LISfeeds. I’ll keep track of it, as no files have been released yet.
