David Bigwood on e-mail and spam

August 9th, 2004

I’ve said it before and I’ll continue to say it: E-mail is a dead technology. The only reason I use it is because everyone else does (not a good excuse, but it’s the truth). David Bigwood offers up his thoughts on e-mail and spam:

“This morning I had 3 spam messages for every real message. This is destroying the medium…If everybody received 3 telemarketing phone calls for each personal call or 3 spam IM messages for every real one I don’t know if those formats could survive or if it would be allowed to continue.”

Good on ya David.
