The library weblog dedicated to resources for keeping current and professional development

Monterey Here We Come!

July 24th, 2004

The other day, the preliminary program came out for Internet Librarian 2004 to be held (yet again) in beautiful Monterey, California. There is already some buzz about it from Aaron Schmidt and Michael Stephens. I will be there as well, speaking on topics mostly related to weblogs and RSS (what else, right?). I was thrilled to also organize a full track on Information and Knowledge Exchange (read weblogs/RSS) with Jenny Levine. The speakers for that track (subject to change, but I doubt it) will be Greg Schwartz (Open Stacks), Sabrina Pacifici (Be Spacific), Shane Nackerud (UThink), Troy A. Swanson and Larry Sloma (Moraine Valley Community Library), Jenny, Michael, and me. This should be a fun day of learning and networking.

See you in November.
