Finding Feeds?
July 8th, 2004While I am all for articles in the mainstream press on weblogs/RSS, but the journalists really need to do their homework. For example, in this article entitled, Blogs Help You Cope With Data Overload — If You Manage Them, the following sentence is placed towards the end:
“The best way to find great blogs is to follow your curiosity, tracking back links on blogs you visit.”
Sure. This is one way to find blogs to read, but what about the more useful methods, such as Syndic8, News Is Free, Blogstreet, 2RSS, Feedster, Blogdigger, and even the ODP. Heck, even Bloglines, which is already mentioned in the article, has a directory. Just once, I’d like to see them get it right. It’s no wonder that bloggers are competing with journalists in delivering content.
