Get Your RSS Feed Listed Within Hours At Yahoo In 5 Simple Steps

When Yahoo introduced their implementation of RSS into My Yahoo, I remember Jenny writing that her library system feed was not included in her listing in the Yahoo Directory (It since has been included). What I didn’t realize, and what this article mentions, is that if your feed is not listed under your listing, all you have to do is add it to your “My Yahoo” page. Within hours, it will be crawled, indexed, and added to the directory.

So, if your library syndicates RSS Feeds for your content, take the time to add them to your “My Yahoo” page, throw up an “add to my Yahoo” button, and you will have an XML link under your result in Yahoo. This is a great marketing tactic, plus it’s free.
