Dozomo

June 16th, 2004

Dozomo “is a quick way to reach every search engine in the world! Just type the name of the search engine you want to use followed by the search term, and dozomo will take you there immediately. If you want to search quotes by Kant, type “quote Kant”. If you feel there is a search engine missing, you can easily add it, using a simple form.”

I thought this was a neat engine, and I decided to test it out with my local library catalog. By typing in smith [space] [keyword] it goes directly to a title search for that partular keyword for the Smithtown Library. They have browser plugins but not available for IE yet (rats). I know that there are other tools that do this, but I thought that I’d mention it.
