Responses from the various vendor reps on RSS

Christina spoke to a few vendors about RSS at SLA last week. There were some mixed reactions.

I think that vendors are going to catch on sooner or later with RSS. Those that do it first are going to benefit the most: always lead in this business, never follow. More advice to library vendors: Be daring and take the plunge. Talk to us RSS geeks about syndication and don’t shrug us off as if we don’t know what’s going on in our libraries. Work with us to improve content delivery to our clients. Support RSS.
