More on UWinnipeg Bloggers
May 23rd, 2004I’m not sure if most LS readers read the comments from the posts (they are available via RSS if you care to subscribe), so I’m going to repost a comment I received on the University of Winnipeg Library Blog Interest Group post from Sherri Vokey:
“The University of Winnipeg Library began experimenting with BLOGs in earnest since about December 2003 (see Home of UWinnipeg Bloggers). One of our main objectives in starting the BLOG Sig is to show UofW faculty and admin how BLOGs can be integrated into their classes both ‘as-is’ or through existing courseware packages that they may be using. We’ve also been working quite a bit with RSS on our Library website, and hope to show others how they can utilize this to incorporate rich content into their own particular online course webpages/BLOGs/courseware environments, etc, using content from other eduBLOGs, learning object repositories, and so forth. We’re in the early stages (our first meeting was just last week), so stay tuned!”
Consider me “staying tuned”, Sherri. And thanks for the comment.
