They tricked us with a ‘test’ URL last week, but Google has officialy launched Google Blog, powered by Blogger (duh!).

“Get the latest word direct from the Googleplex about new technology, hot issues, and the wide world of search”. (Atom Feed).

I like the idea of big search companies having an official weblog. Microsoft has done it (kinda, bu not really). Yahoo hasn’t. Ask Jeeves hasn’t. Huge library systems should have them. I would have loved to have seen a weblog come out of the NYPL relaunch. Sigh.
