Happy Birthday Sesame Street!!

Unbelievable. Seseme Street is 5 years older than me!! I remember watching Grover, Ernie, Bert and the whole gang early on in life (actually, my first memories are of these characters). Now, with Hallie in my lap, we watch Elmo’s World every morning before I go off to work. A smile always gleams from her face when Elmo comes on singing and dancing. The oldies are still there too. Cookie Monster always eating cookies and regretting it everytime, Count Dracula counting up from 1 to whatever the number of the day happens to be. The one thing I miss is that funky song with the pinball machine that counted up to the number 12. They should have kept that one. Happy 35th Sesame Street!!
