Easy Bloglines Subscriptions

April 5th, 2004

I mentioned this to Jenny at CIL and I couldn’t remember where I saw it. Well, HCRHS Channels made its way back into my aggregator (Thanks Feedster)

This app is awesome. It was set by Will Richardson (I assume, because it’s his school, correct me if I’m wrong. So, there are a list of weblogs, broken down by subject. The user clicks on the ones that they want to read, then hits subscribe, and the feeds are automatically pushed into Bloglines. Very innovative.

I would love to add this to LISFeeds, or even to a blogroll, where users can just choose which feeds they want and get automatically subscribed. Has anyone seen this taken a step further? Have users check the feeds they want and have an OPML created for those feeds, from which they can subscribe in any aggregator. It may streamline the process of subscribing to multiple feeds, with the user making the choices.
