Me? At the Prom? How exciting!!!

I created an ego feed on pubsub and it sometimes gets false hits, like this one:

“I’ve done the unthinkable. I have taken my fate into my own hands and asked Stephen Cohen to prom. I’ve been planning on doing it for a long time, but then I thought, the worst he could do is hate me forever, and you know what — he says he’ll never come back to NJ anyway and I’m not moving my ass from this state for the next five years. (Who is the escapist here, me or him? You decide).”

Ah, I remember the prom…To be sure, I don’t know the fundamentals of the relationship, but they could both be avoiding the inevitable here. C’mon Stephen, take her to the prom!!
