Professional Writing for Librarians - An Online Workshop

Rachel links to an online course called Professional Writing for Librarians, offered by ARL. It’s a 5 week course that, while the cost may be high for those starting out in the field (I know I couldn’t afford it), will probably help in getting started in publishing in the the library field.

Here is an idea that stems from one of the chapters in Rachel’s book (which I finished last week - a must read!!). Maybe an organization would be willing to provide grant money for a library student or recent library school graduate to take the course?
