Morbus IM’d me a few weeks ago about LibDB, and I gave him a big thumbs up on the project. This is very exciting and I wish Morbus well. More information as I get it, or you can sign up for their Notification List. I know there has to be an RSS Feed for the wiki somewhere, I just can’t find it right now.
