The library weblog dedicated to resources for keeping current and professional development

RSS Aggregator Page

January 19th, 2004

Lots of great stuff happening today in the world of RSS and librarians. The Education Librarian reports on a neat web-based aggregator that James Ellis cooked up for her. It’s the same concept that we have going on at LISFeeds, with feeds being grabbed every few hours and plugged into a database (again, the techie stuff is all Blake). Before we went with the “click on the feed name” approach, we had something similar like this running. I like either approach to syndication, but as a personal preference, I need to look at more than just titles. To each his/her own, I guess.
