Slowness at Bloglines?!

It was bound to happen sooner or later. Andrea is experiencing some slowness at Bloglines. Whether or not she caught the slowness during a server hiccup is relevant, but the more people who use a service such as this online, the slower it is bound to become, especially for one that is free. While I have always advocated for the use of web based aggregators, this is one of the drawbacks. Bloglines will probably offer an enhanced version in the future for a few bucks which will include access to another server (like Blogger used to do). I checked out Bloglines tonight and it was pretty quick, but will probably start slowing down soon. That’s the nature of free.

As is with life, you get what you pay for, which is why I don’t mind plunking down $40 per year for Radio. It is by far the best aggregator out there.
